Riders Republic:

Riders Republic, a thrilling open-world adventure game developed by Ubisoft Entertainment, takes players on an adrenaline-fueled journey through vast and immersive landscapes. As a Senior and Principal 3D Generalist, I had the privilege of contributing to this ambitious project alongside talented teams at Ubisoft India and Annecy, France.

In Riders Republic, players are thrust into a dynamic world brimming with extreme sports, from mountain biking and skiing to snowboarding and wingsuit flying. With seamless multiplayer experiences and a sprawling open-world environment, the game offers endless opportunities for exploration and competition.

Game Design Pipeline:

As part of the development team, I played a crucial role in shaping the game's design pipeline, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow from concept to implementation. Here's an overview of the pipeline:

1. Review and Planning: Collaborating closely with the design and development teams, I participated in project reviews and planning sessions to establish goals, identify requirements, and define the overall vision for the game.

2. Vehicle Pipeline Setup: Leveraging my expertise in vehicle design and implementation, I spearheaded the setup of the vehicle pipeline, laying the foundation for the creation, optimization, and integration of various vehicles into the game world.

3. Team Management: Taking on a leadership role, I contributed to the hiring process by assisting in the selection and onboarding of talented individuals to the vehicle team, ensuring a cohesive and skilled workforce capable of delivering high-quality assets.

4. Character Design: In collaboration with the art team, I contributed to the design and development of characters' gears and accessories, bringing them to life with attention to detail and realism.

5. Environment and Props: My responsibilities extended to the creation of diverse environments, props, and materials that populate the game world, enriching it with depth and authenticity.

6. Implementation in Anvil Game Engine: Working directly within the Anvil Engine, I orchestrated the seamless integration of assets, characters, and vehicles, optimizing performance and ensuring a visually stunning and immersive gameplay experience.

7. LOD and Collisions: To optimize performance and enhance player immersion, I meticulously crafted Level of Detail (LOD) models and collision meshes, striking a balance between visual fidelity and gameplay efficiency.

Through my contributions to Riders Republic, I played a pivotal role in shaping the game's world and enhancing the player experience, delivering an unforgettable adventure that pushes the boundaries of open-world gaming.
